Camp Director Pro is a new business with a long history. We are a web based camp management concept that has been in use since 2001 when several students at Messiah College, in conjunction with then assistant Men's Basketball coach Rick Van Pelt, developed the prototype. Over the next 12 years Coach Van Pelt continued to use and adapt the system until, in the summer of 2013 he decided to take it to the next level. Andrew Paulson of Silverswitch Consulting was instrumental in taking the ideas and concepts perfected over the first 12 years and bring them together to launch Camp Director Pro! It is our hope that other camp directors will find this to be a very powerful and valuable tool that will:
- Automate the registration and payment process - Virtually eliminating the task that eats up 100's of hours before camp even starts.
- Simplify the data collection and the utilization of that data to organize their camp, again saving time!
- Improve communication with parents by providing a simple and easy to navigate website, as well as, email capabilities for confirmation letters and camp updates.
Rick Van Pelt, the Owner and Founder of Camp Director Pro continues to use this system to run the very successful Messiah College Boys Basketball Camp that works with over 400 campers each summer. All clients of Camp Director Pro can sleep well at night knowing that the owner and founder is depending on Camp Director Pro to deliver great results as much as they are! We are also committed to continual development of Camp Director Pro and will look to add new tools each summer to save camp directors time and eliminate "headaches" - giving them more quality time to spend with their family!
